We believe that everyone deserves to realize their potential as a human being.
We believe that people are capable of more than they think.
We believe that teaching, learning, support, collaboration, and accountability serve as the foundation to achieving success.
We believe that success is a relative term. Each of us is unique and therefore each of us defines success differently.
We believe that true health is not just freedom from disease, but rather the ability to do the things you want and need to do. These are the things that help you enjoy life: To take care of yourself and others, to succeed as a parent and spouse, to avoid the pitfalls of aging and chronic disease, to be the best YOU that you can be.
We believe that taking care of your physical body is important. But life needs balance. We must have a healthy body, a healthy mind, a healthy spirit, a healthy family life, and healthy finances. We must understand our purpose, our meaning for living. Realizing your potential is not the understanding that you have potential. It is the actualization of this potential that we hope to inspire.
We didn’t want to create another gym or health club where people were left to wonder what to do. You aren’t buying access to machines or equipment. You are buying teaching, coaching, and effective programming.
You won’t be left wondering what to do, you won’t be struggling to see results, and you won’t get bored and view exercise as a chore. We will help you build healthy habits and a LOVE of fitness. If you let us, we WILL help you REALIZE YOUR POTENTIAL.
Our name is derived from the biblical verse Philippians 2:3-11
Do nothing out of selfishness or out of vainglory; rather, humbly regard others as more important than yourselves, each looking out not for his own interests, but (also) everyone for those of others. Have among yourselves the same attitude that is also yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God something to be grasped. Rather, he emptied himself, taking the form of a slave, coming in human likeness; and found human in appearance, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross. Because of this, God greatly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Our tag line, ante honorem humilitas, is Latin for “humility before honor”. We leave our egos at the door. Look in the mirror; THAT is your competition. We want you to have success, make your workout the best hour of your day, and leave happy with a sense of accomplishment.
