CrossFit, it really is for everyone:
So, you’ve heard about CrossFit and are wondering if it’s for you? Or maybe you’re relocating to the area and are trying to find a new home gym. Before we tell you about the CrossFit program, I’d like to share our mission statement at CrossFit 2311:
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let us tell you more:
|CrossFit is about utilizing your training to benefit your daily life.
The words of CrossFit founder, Greg Glassman, best describe this concept:
|“People’s needs differ by degree not kind. Olympic athletes and our grandparents both need to fulfill their potentials for cardiorespiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, speed, power, coordination, accuracy, balance, and agility.
We scale our program by altering rest, load, intensity, etc. while utilizing the same tools (exercises) for everyone whenever possible.”
|CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program based on constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity.
The movements often expose and rehabilitate old injuries and compensations, leading to a strengthening of that “unstable shoulder” and “bad knee”. From fall prevention to the reduction of osteoporosis, our CrossFit program will get you moving the way nature intended and improve your overall health.
Lastly, we’ve built a community of people that will support one another in their goals, cheer each other on during workouts, and in the simplest form – know your name when you walk through the door.
